Today I have tried something new to me. Wine Meehon or some call BeeHoon. It cooked with Chinese rice wine and you may choose whether you wish to have seafood or chicken etc.
The taste is special and I like it very much. It is located at Penang Burmah Road nearby Him Heang biscuit shop. It just before the Green House (青屋）on the left hand side.
Bangkok Lane Mee Sotong

I still wonder if Mee Sotong is the same with mamak Mee Goreng? Anyhow here is one of the famous Mee Sotong in Penang. It is located at Bangkok Lane(Lorong Bangkok), Pulau Tikus.
The Price is not expensive, it just like a normal mee goreng price.
Xuan Xin Steamboat Buffet (炫昇自助火锅)

I love steamboat buffet a lot, because we can eat as much as we can with one price and can spend time with friends or family while having the steamboat.
The most buffet I like in Penang is Xuan Xin Steamboat Buffet. Why? Because it is cheap and there is few types of soup we can choose. The most important thing is they have Teppanyaki Corner.
The price is around RM30 for weekend and I heard that they have 20% discount on weekdays recently. It is located at Tanjung Tokong near Island Plaza there.
Different Types of soup to choose. Sometimes they have monthly special soup also.
Simpang Ampat Yam Rice at Penang Island!

Thinking about nice and delicious Yam rice? Now you do not need to go until Simpang Ampat to have the famous Yam rice, you can have it in Penang Island too.
It is located at Bukit Jambul i-Avenue behind Hong Leong bank. The Yam rice is very nice served with salted vegetable soup and pig leg. If you do not like Yam rice you can have the normal rice with the soup as the soup is also delicious.
The soup contain pork, fish ball, tau fu etc…
Seoul Garden Buffet Steamboat

Last few days I have went for buffet at Seoul Garden in Gurney Plaza with my wife to celebrate my 2010 Birthday!! I have choose Seoul Garden because they have Birthday promotion for 50% discount!!
The environment is nice and I like the soup a lot. As for the food it is a bit normal just like normal steamboat buffet.
May go to have a try on the soup and the environment is nice for steamboat also. I wish to take more photo but the guy stop me as they do not allow photo taking.
