I believe most of the people Sungai Petani knows this Bak Kut Teh which located at Petani Jaya. For those who never try it or going to visit SP, you can try it as it is famous and very nice. The place is easy to find, try to find Econsave Petani Jaya and you should find it.

The Bak Kut Teh taste is very nice and I like the side dish very much like fried fish and fried lala. Much try.

Chicken rice can consider very normal food that we all having it daily. But where to have nice chicken rice? I have visited this 3 tasted chicken rice, call “Sa Bi” in hokkien. They call it 3 taste because most of the people order 3 types of meat most of the time. You can have choice of roasted chicken, boiled chicken, Chinese sausages and roasted pork. You even can mix them all as well.

Tanjung Bungah Chinese Burger Stall

As we know most of the burger stall is from Malay. Have you tried the Chinese burger stall in Tanjung Bungah? I have heard a lot of people saying that it is nice and famous.

Yesterday I have bought it as my dinner and go to Strait Quay Starbucks to have my burger with nice coffee. The taste is as nice as the Malay burger but there is different on the taste. I don’t know how to describe it, it is delicious. It good to have a try.

When I was there, there is a lot of poeple waiting their burger there. I have wait around 15-20minutes. They start business at evening until night. It is best to go at evening as it will be more people at night.

Food Gallery @ Penang Times Square (食代广场)

Today I went to the new Penang Times Square Food Court call Food Gallery. There is many type of food there, a lot to choose but I only manage to try 2. Its a nice place to go if sometime you do not know where to eat, you can just go there and choose.

The environment there is nice, can choose aircond or non aircond which is sit along the corridor. The place is at first floor of Penang Times Square which you can actually park infront Soju club and go up using the escalator beside Soju. Of couse, you can park inside Times Square car park and go from inside. Provided with free WIFI as well.

If you do not know where is Penang Times Square, it is located at Dato Keramat Road.

Nasi Lemak Goreng @ Ali mamak

We all know mamak food like mee goreng, nasi lemak, roti canai etc. But have you heard about Nasi lemak goreng? They actually fried the Nasi lemak and the smell is nice. I have order a Nasi lemak goreng with ayam and it is enough for 2 pax, the price is RM8 but it worth it. Yummy yummy!

The location is at Pulau Tikus, small lorong opposite PTPL college call Jalan Lunas.

Tang Yuan… Which all the chinese will have it once a year. But how if you wanna eat if not yet reach the season? This is the store which sell tang yuan all the time at Magazine Road Penang, it is opposite Traders Hotel. The hawker is call “Tang Yen”.
