Bayan Baru Food Court (Sunshine Market)
by Keat on Mar.10, 2010, under Bayan Baru
Long time didn’t update me food blog already… This time I am gonna post about the Food Court that I almost visit everyday! It is just nearby Sunshine Square Bayan Baru which most of the people call it Sunshine Market. The total food stall there can say nearly 100 store including malay and indian store. You can choose to have either Chinese, Indian or Malay food there. The Market is open from morning until night depends on stall.

When you reach there the first thing you have to do is find a nice place to sit down. You can find a lot of coffee store where every of them own few tables. Every time I go there I like to go to Cafe 88… Why? Because the drink is cheap, tasty and of course the uncle is very friendly. You will feel it when you see the picture above… haha…
My favorite drink here is coconut!! A lot of people like his Red Bean Ice Blanded..

The Singapore Bihun is very nice. It is only available at morning. The uncle like to play oldies song every morning, feel very comfortable there.

This is my favorite breakfast Hokkien Mee which also available at morning only.

There is a lot of food to choose, some time I also dun know what to eat when go there because too many for me to choose… haha… Enjoy…

Have to tried to have your lunch or dinner in a toilet? This restaurant has been opened for sometime already but yesterday only I manage to visit. The environment is a bit strange but is special and the food is nice too. You can fine it at Queensbay Mall in Penang, 3rd floor next to GSC Cinema.

Have you tried to eat noodles on a toilet bowl?

It’s Bak Kut Teh time again… I believe there is a lot of Bak Kut Teh Lover in Malaysia. This time I am going to post the nice Bak Kut Teh in Penang. Although Klang is famous on Bak Kut Teh, you can also find a lot of Bak Kut Teh in other places like this one.

Normal Bak Kut Teh and Dry Bak Kut Teh

I like the dry bak kut teh. I always will order 1 normal and 1 dry. If you only order the dry bak kut teh they will also provide you some soup. The price is cheap too.
For USM student stay nearby should know where is it. It it just the road opposite Tesco Extra.

This type of food court let me feel different as you can find a lot of famous food like Nasi Ayam Periuk Besar, I Love Yoo (老油鬼鬼) and many more open a small stall there. The food is really nice and you can enjoying the singer sing on the stage while having your food.
