I believe most of the people Sungai Petani knows this Bak Kut Teh which located at Petani Jaya. For those who never try it or going to visit SP, you can try it as it is famous and very nice. The place is easy to find, try to find Econsave Petani Jaya and you should find it.
The Bak Kut Teh taste is very nice and I like the side dish very much like fried fish and fried lala. Much try.

It is located at the end at Taman Intan beside the river. Most of their seafood is live and fresh.

I found this special nasi kandar recently where they selling a lot of special food that you cannot find in normal nasi kandar. It is located at the new Tesco in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
The food is cheap and nice too.

It Bak Kut Teh again!! This time is located in Sungai Petani, Kedah. This stall has selling Bak Kut Teh for many many years already and a lot of the people in Sungai Petani like it… including me. The restaurant located at Jalan Pekan Lama the turn to Jalan Bakar Sampah.
